When ARGUS flags an incident, the next step is yours. ARGUS surfaces what matters; you make the final call on every incident. This page walks through that review loop.

Reviewing an incident

1

Open the Incidents view

New incidents appear in the Incidents view of your dashboard, newest first. Each row shows the risk score, the camera, and the time.
2

Select an incident to expand it and review the details — what ARGUS saw, where, and when. Higher-risk incidents are worth reviewing first.
3

Decide what to do

Choose one of the three actions below. Your decision is saved and recorded.

The three actions

Confirm

Mark the incident as a real threat. Use this when you’ve reviewed it and it’s a genuine concern.

Mark False Positive

Dismiss the incident as not a real threat. You’ll be asked for a quick reason so your record stays accurate.

Escalate

Flag the incident for further review when it needs another set of eyes or follow-up beyond a simple confirm or dismiss.

Everything is logged

Every status change you make — confirm, mark false positive, or escalate — is recorded in an audit trail. That gives you and your team a reliable history of who reviewed what and what was decided, so nothing slips through the cracks.
Your feedback also helps you keep an accurate, trustworthy record of what’s happening in your store over time. The more consistently incidents are reviewed, the clearer that picture becomes.
