Live view lets you watch any connected camera in real time from your ARGUS dashboard, from anywhere you can sign in.

Watching one camera

Open Cameras in your dashboard and select a camera. The picture starts within a few seconds. You’ll see ARGUS’s detections drawn on top of the picture as they happen: the same analysis that produces your incidents, shown live.

Watching all of them at once

The camera wall shows every camera together in one view. It’s built for a screen someone glances at rather than a screen someone sits in front of. If you want the wall on a TV in the store, see Put the camera wall on a TV.

About the delay

Live view runs a few seconds behind real time. That’s deliberate: it buys a smooth, steady picture instead of one that stutters and freezes. For watching a store, steady is worth more than instant. If you’re seeing much more delay than that, or the picture keeps stalling, contact support.

If a camera won’t show

A camera that shows no picture in live view has usually lost its connection to your recorder. See Camera troubleshooting. In most cases support can bring it back remotely, without a visit.
